A Hot August!

You may guess that the title of this article has very little to do with the weather we have just experienced for most of August. It is really a reflection of the demand for rental property.

We had our busiest August on record this year and what shone bright was the following:

• Demand was strong for all types of properties.
• Viewing numbers were high.
• On many occasions each property had multiple interested applicants.

These factors are becoming more and more common for our landlords and properties which can only be seen as positive. To give you an idea of the diversity of property in demand we let the following, a one bedroom bungalow at £500 per calendar month, two bedroom apartment at £575 per calendar month, three bedroom semi-detached property at £650 and a private country house at £2,500 per calendar month.

Across the board demand remains strong and one of most interesting recent instructions is a spacious three storey new build property which boasts three double bedrooms. I am sure this will not be around for long.
